Exodus Ministries is a 503 (c) (3) non-denominational Christian organization established in 1987 to assist ex-offenders and their families to become productive members of society by serving their spiritual and physical needs. Here is a list of volunteers needed:
Apartment Make-Ready
Individuals to set up and decorate apartments
for resident move-ins Childcare and Youth Teachers
Individuals to facilitate Bible studies for both
children and youth programs Budget Partners
Individuals to help residents in budgeting and
saving their money Mentors
Individuals to mentor resident families (This includes mentoring incoming residents prior to their release from prison and after their completion of the Exodus program) | Office Helpers
Individuals to help in the office by filing, answering phones, etc. Computer Literacy Instructors
Individuals to instruct adults in
basic computer operations Bible Study Teachers
Individuals to facilitate adult Bible studies
(Materials and curriculum are provided) Professionals
Individuals to offer their professional services to help improve ex-offenders' standard of living (i.e. doctors, dentists, lawyers, Christian counselors) |
